CRIMINAL LAW & CRIMINOLOGY PROGRAM

The basic notion underlying the Program is that criminal law is not just a very important field of law, but also a particularly special field with unique principles, considerations and rules, requiring significant expertise before dealing with it. The subject covers crucial decisions of life and death, and the goal is that they shall be handled with the appropriate professionalism.

The program of studies is based on the division of Criminal Law into 4 sections:

1. Substantive Criminal Law
2. Criminal Procedure
3. Criminal Evidence
4. Criminology

The main objective of the program is that every student will study all the four parts and thereby develop an understanding of the whole of Criminal Law.
