Previously Hersch Lauterpacht Professor of International Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Faculty of Law, and Director of the Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Hebrew University. Visiting Professor of Law, Harvard Law School (1998-99, 2004), Columbia Law School (1999-2002), University of Michigan School of Law (2002), New York University School of Law (2003, 2005). Visiting Fellow, Max-Planck-Institute for Public and International Law, Heidelberg, Germany (1996). Member, the International Law Association, Committee on International Law in National Courts (1994-98). Founding Co-Editor, Theoretical Inquiries in Law (1997-2002), Editor-in-Chief (2003-2006). Board Member (1994-98, 2000-01) and Chairperson (1995-96) of the Association for Civil Rights in Israel.
