Assistant Professor, University of Indiana, Bloomigton (2007)` Visiting Professor of Political Studies at Bard College, pending appointment as Associate Professor of Law, Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington. Previously visited at the University of Mississippi, Boston University, and Central European University. Formerly at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. Research focuses on law and ethnic conflict. His most recent article is Migrating towards Minority Status: Shifting European Policy towards Roma (43 Journal of Common Market Studies 763, 2005, with Rachel Guglielmo); forthcoming works include Remembering Sudetenland: On the Legal Construction of Ethnic Cleansing (Virginia Journal of International Law, 2006), and Deconstructing the Reconstruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina (UPenn Press, with Dina Haynes). His editorials on the Balkans and Iraq have appeared in the New York Times.
