Professor Hyde earned his A.B. from Stanford and his J.D. from Yale.
Before coming to Rutgers, he was an instructor at New York University
School of Law and represented the National Labor Relations Board in federal
courts of appeals. He is the author of WORKING IN SILICON VALLEY: ECONOMIC
AND LEGAL ANALYSIS OF A HIGH-VELOCITY LABOR MARKET (2003), BODIES OF LAW
(1997), and the co-author of LEGAL RIGHTS AND INTERESTS IN THE WORKPLACE:
CASES AND MATERIALS ON EMPLOYMENT AND LABOR LAW (with C.W. Summers and
K.G. Dau-Schmidt) (forthcoming 2006), and CASES AND MATERIALS ON LABOR
LAW (2nd ed., 1982) (with C.W. Summers and H.H. Wellington. He has been
a visiting professor at Yale, Columbia, Cornell, New York University,
Cardozo, and the University of Michigan law schools, and is on leave 2005-07,
