The Human Rights Program of the Academic Center of Law and Business is holding its 6th international conference on the subject of "Rights and Reciprocity."
The conference will be conducted as a researchers' workshop and will take place at the Leodardo City Tower Hotel, Ramat Gan, Israel, on January 5-6, 2011.
The workshop will provide a forum for academics from around the world to exchange views and share ideas on the theoretical, legal, and practical aspects of the concepts of rights and reciprocity in a wide variety of perspectives, including the rights of cultural and religious minorities in a democracy, reciprocity in ethics and in law, in political and feminist theory, reciprocity and welfare rights, and rights and obligations in the laws of war.
The works presented will be published after a "double blind" peer review in the journal Law & Ethics of Human Rights (published by Berkley Electronic Press).
The session on Reciproocity and the Laws of War is sponsonred by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
