Yishai Blank is Vice Dean and Professor of Law.  He teaches Local Government Law, Administrative Law, Legal Theory, and Legal Geography.  Blank holds an LL.B. and a B.A in philosophy (both magna cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University, and an S.J.D. from Harvard Law School.  He clerked for Prof. Aharon Barak, the former Chief Justice of the Israeli Supreme Court.  Blank’s main fields of research include local government law, global cities, legal and social theory, legal geography and sexuality.  He was a member of the Young Scholars Forum of the Israeli Academy of Sciences and a recipient of several prizes for excellence in research.  Blank’s articles have been published in prestigious journals in Israel and abroad, including Cornell Law Review, Harvard International Law Journal, Columbia Journal of Transnational Law, and Tel Aviv Law Review.
